Quick Lane
Time to franchise
Who We Are, What We Do and What We Recognise.
What We Do
Quick Lane Centres (‘QL Centres’) aim to provide customers with high-quality and exceptional value tyre and automotive services in an inviting, professional atmosphere. Our core repair approach has been designed to deliver Convenience with Confidence and consistency of service delivery across its network.

What We Recognise
We recognise and understand that our customers are increasingly motivated by value and convenience in their purchasing decisions

Our research tells us that ‘value’ is not just price-led, nor is convenience just about being ‘fast’. Clearly, the “Fast Fit” industry has pain points around trust and transparency and is ripe for disruption by a Franchise that will address these issues

Quick Lane is a proposition predicated on delivering an outstanding customer experience, individualised and supported by technology, experts, processes and outstanding facilities

The Quick Lane mission is to provide Convenience with Confidence by maintaining a transparent and consultative relationship that keeps customers coming back, building consumer trust, loyalty and advocacy in our challenging industry.

Why Franchise
Franchising has never been in better health than it is now.
The authoritative annual research into the state of the industry – the universally respected bfa/NatWest Franchise Survey – has shown both short- and long-term growth trends to be very strong in the sector – including prior to and since the economic downturn in 2008.

After a slight downturn in that year, every year following has shown growth in terms of numbers of brands franchising, numbers of franchisees, numbers employed in franchise businesses and the overall turnover of the franchise sector.

These figures, combined with impressive trends going back to before the turn of the century and uninterrupted by the recession, consistently show around 90% of franchisees reporting profitability and less than 4% of franchise businesses failing for commercial reasons each year.

Those statistics compare favorably to figures estimating that between half and two-thirds of all independent start-ups close within their first three years. It’s clear that the advantages inherent within a franchise business – including economies of scale and support of a large brand combined with local marketing and business owners – make them particularly robust and, statistically, much more likely to succeed.

A professional, ethical and successful business franchise is supported by offering a strong brand / a track record of success / training programmes / ongoing operational support / marketing assistance / property assistance / construction assistance / purchasing power / risk avoidance - Quick Lane offers all of these essential ingredients.

Why franchise with us
Quick Lane aims to become the UK’s favourite maintenance and light repair service, with a Quick Lane Centre as a valued part of every community, serving the needs of its customers.
By offering a consistently high level of customer experience and high quality repairs across the national network, Quick Lane and its Franchisees can enjoy success.

At Quick Lane we have gone to great lengths to understand exactly what customers are seeking and how to provide it –and we are continuously researching new and exciting ways to improve our service. Through our training, guidance and support, we help our Franchisees become ‘Brilliant at the Basics’.

We design our Centres very carefully to optimise space utilisation and to provide an inviting environment in which customers feel welcome and comfortable while waiting for their vehicles

Beyond offering excellent service, the way this is offered to our customers is of paramount importance, which is why we put so great an emphasis on our comprehensive Training Programmes.

We believe our technology-driven approach will offer competitive advantage in the marketplace. For example, our online experience – website; app, social media; unique CRM system; Centre Management System. In addition, we aim for the development and introduction of a comprehensive Mobility concept to set QL Centres apart from other “Fast-Fit” operators. Our offline customer service philosophy adds to the overall experience for our customers.

Quick Lane provides on-going business support – our Franchisees are given the support they need, when they need it.

Quick Lane Franchisees can rest assured that all other Quick Lane outlets will be owned and operated by like-minded Franchisees and run to the same high standard as their own – ensuring, to the best of our ability, that only positive reinforcement and recommendations are given about the Quick Lane offering.

At Quick Lane, we are keen to see all our Franchisees succeed. A successful Quick Lane business will become an essential part of the local community – and popular, too!

Funding
All leading UK high street banks and financial institutions have recognized and support our franchise business proposition and are very excited at discussing lending requirements against the business model, with potential candidates.
They will normally lend up to 70% of initial funding requirements (subject to personal application criteria). The banks themselves have special financing sectors where they look upon franchising in a favorable light, with 90% of franchisees reporting profitability and less than 4% of franchise businesses fail for commercial reasons (BFA / NatWest survey 2016).

We can also suggest external support to help you in writing your business plan and, if required, support in approaching the banks for funding.
